The second instalment to Bordelle’s AW20/21 collections ‘Botanica’ is an entirely feminine reimagining of Bordelle’s signature design elements; introducing bespoke Swiss embroidery inspired by the plants and cacti of Mexico with vibrant multicoloured threads, 24K gold plated hardware and adjustable & soft wide band elastic.
The same colourways as featured in AW21 Merida return to create new opportunities for mixing and matching:
Our perennial fave, black, with rich clashes of red, green and blue embroidery for a unique and voguish twist.
The Deep and seductive shades of morello reminiscent of Mexican sunset skies.
The feminine and contemporary dusty blue for a playful take on the bondage aesthetic.
The collection includes luxurious everyday styles such as the Soft Triangle Bra alongside spectacular limited edition showpieces such as the Ouvert Basque and High Waist Brief. A particulate personal fave is the Botanica Bodice Bra, the fit is absolutely magical on a wide range of cup sizes and body types and the unique design is a stand out. As with so many of Bordelle’s pieces the design and attention to detail extends all around the body.
As you’re probably aware by now, ethics and sustainability is core to what we believe in here at babylikestopony, what good is luxury if it costs the earth so we’re super proud that the elegant soft tulle in this collection is made entirely from 100% recycled polymers.
Along with many of our other brands, Bordelle’s innovations in materials and production processes lead the way in creating more sustainable collections without compromising on design.
